What Time do Trades Reset in Monopoly GO!
While it may be a lot simpler if trades just reset for everyone on a rolling 24 basis according to when they traded, it looks like there is a set time for everyone to have their trades reset.
Knowing this means you can trade before the reset, then right away after the reset. The time for trades to reset in Monopoly GO is 8 am UTC, so after that time you can go ahead and make more trades for the next 24 hours until you hit your limit of 5 again.
Why you should trade stickers in Monopoly GO
Trading cards is a great way to try to complete your sticker collections in Monopoly GO! Or to help get extra cards to help you reach the elusive purple vault, for which you need 2,500 stars (or sticker points).

So if you have duplicate 3 star card that someone wants, if you can get more than 3 one star cards, then you've probably made a good trade as the duplicate 3 star card will be worth 3 stars towards a vault, and each 1 star sticker is worth 1 star towards your vault, so if you get 5 or even 10 you've done a great trade.
But the trading system on Monopoly GO! is not great and it's open to cheating because there is not something like in Pokemon GO! Where both players set up their trade then it's executed automatically by the system. No, the system in place in Monopoly GO currently relies a lot on trust, so watch yourself out there when using the trading system in Monopoly GO. You can read up more on trading in the game in our How to Trade Stickers in Monopoly GO! article.
Why is there a limit on trades?
There is a limit on trades in Monopoly GO to stop the trading system being exploited. For example if someone created multiple accounts, and grinded out cards on all accounts then sent them all to one player account, then they would easily be able to reach enough stars to open up a purple vault, complete collections and compete unfairly in tournaments. S that is why we think there are limits in place for sticker trading in Monopoly GO!
