I haven't played in a while and when I went back, the clan I was in was down to me and 1 other user...

I haven't played in a while and when I went back, the clan I was in was down to me and 1 other user. I had been designated leader. I want to leave the clan and move on, but it won't let me unless I give leadership to somebody else or expel the other person.

When I go to the screen to expel or transfer leadership, the "apply" button doesn't work. No idea what to do?
