Chapter 1 - Basement Back Door Puzzle

This is a guide to solving the door puzzle at the back of the basement of the museum . This is during Chapter 1 of New York Mysteries 5: Power of Art. You will have received the task to Follow the Monster and to do this we need to exit the museum to the back alley way. This is via the back door in the basement.

You will have already accessed the basement and completed the tasks to turn off the steam that blocks the back door.

Before you can solve the puzzle you need to find 3 flower shapes that are needed to open the puzzle panel. These are found around the museum with the last one received after making a call to Bishop from the payphone. If you have not found these then check the guide for Chapter 1 to help you.

Add the 3 flowers to the panel on the door and you will find the main puzzle.

Basement Back Door Puzzle.

• There are 2 boards with red and green balls and slots.
• Use the sliders to move the balls and place them into the matching colored slots.
• The left side is easy, the right side is more complicated.
• Watch the video below for a solution.

Once you solve this you can go through and move out into an alley behind the museum. Continue to follow the trail and catch up to the monster. Follow the rest of the guide to Chapter 1 for help.
