Yo play this event you'll need to find four partners to play with. If you are not already found any partners to play this event with then now is a good time to head to our Monopoly Go forum, and start looking for some good partners to play this event with.

Here is our guide to everything we know so far about this partners event on Monopoly Go.

How to Play Fountain Partners

As with all partners events you need to join up with four other players in order to complete an object together. Then it's a matter of collecting the gold coins in the game in order to spin the partners event wheel and get some points towards your building your fountains.

First of all let's look at the best ways to get partners.

How to get Partners for Fountain Partners

This is probably the most important step in the event, because you will be working together with four other players to contribute to construct something together. If your partner turns out to be inactive or doesn't pull their weight in the event you may not be able to complete it, and while you never really know how a partner will perform until you start playing together, there are some precautions you can follow in order to stand a better chance of teaming up with reliable partners, here are our suggestions:

  • Check your current friends list leaderboard, try to work get a few potential partners. You'll need to make sure that they are currently still active.
  • Head to our Monopoly Go forum to look for a partner, we are a small but friendly bunch and you may just find your perfect partner there.
  • Try to remember who you have partnered with previously to try to recall if they we a good partner or not when deciding if you want to invite them again, or if you accept an invite from them.
  • Don't just accept any invite, do try to check out the player a bit first of all, the minimum being seeing where they are on your friends list leaderboard
  • You don't have to choose all four partners right away, you have some time, many top players leave gaps to add more partners later.

Add partners from your friends list

You can start the event with just one partner if you choose, and add more later.

The majority of the event tokens will be gained via the main milestone event. We advise that you take a moment to check both the tournament and main event rewards and milestones list, which you can find by first going to our daily events page and selecting a current or upcoming event where you can view the complete rewards and milestones for that event, to work out how far you want to go in an event to get enough event tokens.

How Many Points to Complete the Event

The points total you need to complete a fountain is 80,000 points, so to complete the whole event you and your partners would need to accumulate 320,000 points together. That should underline the importance of trying your best to select helpful partners for this event. There is no set rule for the amount of points that you personally need to contribute. No matter what your contribution to an individual cake is, both partners can claim the same rewards.

For those hoping to see a Wild Sticker as the final event prize, it looks like there won't be one this time. However, this is normal at the start of the season for the top prize to be a purple sticker pack, and only later in the season do Monopoly Go usually introduce a Wild Sticker as a prize for the final reward.

Should I complete Each Fountain Individually First

Some people play partner events by selecting one partner and completing one item at a time. I don't play this way. As long as I have enough dice to believe I should be able to make at least a 50% contribution to a completed build, I add all of my partners early in the event and then try to distribute my points across all four partner builds, aiming to at least match the progress of my partners.

What happens to left over event tokens?

If you have any gold coins left at the end of the event they are usually converted into a reward of dice, money or a mixture of the two. It would be great if you could share your event tokens with your partners! Monopoly Go... If you are listening!
