Pace Pushers rewards and milestones

To collect points in any tournament on Monopoly Go, just land on a railroad. The complete scoring system is explained further down the page. Because Tycoon Racers is running at the same time as this tournament, there are flags in the rewards list, and also in the leaderboard rewards too.

My strategy for this event

As we head into the start of the first race of the Tycoon Racers event, I'll be using this touranment to try to get more flags. In yesterday's touranment I played until milestone 22, which was a bit less than my initial target of milestone 25, but after spending about 6k dice to get there, I figured this was a good place to stop. That play got me 3,276 as I also collected flags from the board, as well as getting flags from Quick Wins and the eight hourly shop gift.

With the first race due to start, there is an opportunity to get more flags in this event too and it'll really depend on how the race pans out and where we are in the event as to how hard I push for more flags. I'll also consider whether I am close to any attractive milestones in the banner event that is running during this tournament, Fast and Luxurious.

The milestone list is exactly the same as yesterday's so there is an oppotunity to pick up not ony flags but blue sticker packs. I expect there will be purple sticker packs in the leaderboard rewards too although we won't know for sure until the event starts.

Look out for the two Free Parking dice events today too. One ends at 12 PM ET and the next one starts then too. You can find a complete timetable of todays events right here on our all events explained page.

How to get points in Pace Pushers and all Monopoly Go tournaments

The way to get points in a tournament is by landing on railroads, or getting sent to a railroad via a chance card. Once there you'll be given the chance to play Shutdown or Bank Heist.

If you play Shutdown, then the aim is to hit a target that does not have shields, there is no easy way to work this out, but you may have more luck with locations that don't have four or five targets to choose from. So in Shutdown, you simply choose the target from the player's board that you are shown and then if there is a shield you'll get two points multiplied by your dice multiplier and if there is no shield you'll get four points multiplied by your dice multiplier.

If you get given Bank Heist, then the aim is to find the three gold rings behind the various cards you are shown, or at least avoid the solver coins! You'll score four points multiplied by your dice multiplier for finding the silver coins in a 'small heist', six points multiplied by your dice multiplier for finding the bank notes in a 'large heist' or eight points multiplied by your dice multiplier for finding the gold rings in a 'bankrupt'. You actually have the highest probability to get the bank notes because that is the item most prevalent on the board.

Mega Heist works the same way but you have the potential to both win more money and score more points. The top objects to find in this version of the event are the gold bars which will score you 12 points multiplied by your dice multiplier, but also will potentially give you a ton of cash to use on your landmarks, depending on what multiplier (2-20) you are given for the gold bars.

Here is a table showing a breakdown of the points, multiply them by your dice multiplier to work out what you'll actually get. For example a Bank Heist bankrupt using a x10 multiplier will get you 80 points.

Shutdown

  • Shutdown Blocked - 2 points
  • Shutdown Success - 4 points

Bank Heist

  • Small Heist - 4 Points
  • Large Heist - 6 Points
  • Bankrupt - 8 Points
  • Mega Heist Gold Bars - 12 Points

Pace Pushers Leaderboard Rewards

In every tournament you are placed in either a group of 50 or 100 players, and where you finish in that group determines your leaderboard reward. Players do get different leaderboard rewards lists from time to time, here is the list that I see in my game, yours may be different.

  • 1st place: 850 Dice, five star purple sticker pack and 300 flags
