Silk will come from a level 6 moth before it vanishes. To get moths you just need level 6 lamps, and the moths will appear in empty squares from time to time next to the level 6 lamps.
Get Moths from Lamps to Get Silk in Merge Mansion
Then you need to merge those moths until they become level 6, then they will eventually vanish leaving behind silk.
