Weapon Tier List

In Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, you can acquire various weapons using the Draw (gacha) system, and each character has their exclusive weapon set. The combination of these weapons equipped by the character will also affect their build or role in the party.

Please check out our Weapon System guide for more information about how the weapon system works, as well as our Weapon Enhancement guide to know how to effectively improve your weapons to unleash your characters' combat prowess.

Weapon Tiers

For our tier list, we have only divided them into three tiers: S, A, and B.

S-TierThese weapons are exceptional and considered to be the character's best weapon(s). They're worth every once of resource you dump into them and should be attempted to be drawn if you want to use the character often.

A-TierWeapons in this tier are relatively strong (many of the 5-star weapons fall in this tier) so resources used for improving them are not wasted at all. Since getting specific weapons for characters (especially their top-tier weapons) can be challenging, A-tier weapons are going to be your go-to tier for your character's loadout.

B-TierThis tier is decent enough to get you through the early stages of the game but should be replaced or ditched once you gain access to at least proper A-tier weapons. They're not worth investing in, unless you manage to get several copies of them then use that to increase their rarity, which will make them significantly better.

Tier List

S-Tier

  • Edged Wings
  • Aonibi
  • Shinra Blade: Model I

A-Tier

  • CC Alloy Sword
  • Nameless
  • Northern Lights
  • Prototype Crimson Blade
  • Torn Wing

B-Tier

  • Glaireid
  • Mythril Type-0 Katana

Sephiroth's Best Weapons

Edged Wings

This weapon has the highest ice damage potency in the game and excellent magical ice damage modifier. Its R-abilities also boosts its MATK and Ice potency, further enhancing its damage potential. This weapon gets an additional boost if you manage to get Sephiroth's limited costume (obtained from Stamp collecting), up to +35% ice damage. The only major complaint we have for this weapon is its annoyingly long ability animation.

Shinra Blade: Model I

This is Sephiroth's strongest single-target, non-elemental option with a 10% crit boost. Its R-abilities enhances ATK and Ability Pot., making it quite an amazing secondary weapon for Sephiroth to complement his DPS swords or sub-weapon for other DPS characters.

Aonibi

Meant to be his secondary weapon, this weapon's C-skill buffs Sephiroth's MATK and also applies Regen on him. The two R-abilities (Boost HP, Boost Ability Pot.) further adds to his survivability. Don't bother using this as the main weapon since Sephiroth has other better options. The main gripe about this weapon is you at least need to Overboost it at least once to unlock its great effects.

Sephiroth's Best Builds

For more information about sub-weapons and how they affect your builds, please check out our Sub-Weapons Guide.

This build focuses on dealing Magical Ice damage, further complemented by his stamp costume (if you have it). Nevertheless, you will still need to rely on secondary and sub-weapons to complement this build.

  • Secondary Weapon: Aonibi (at least OB1) (C-ability: Increase MATK and apply Regen; R-ability: Boost HP and Ability Potential)
