Welcome to our Full walkthrough for Beyond the Room, an escape room mystery story game from Dark Dome. Fans of the Dark Dome series will recognize the play style and themes of this new episode in the related mystery stories. Similar game in this series include Haunted Laia, Another Shadow, The Girl in the Window and more.

In Beyond the Room you play as Darien a young man who feels compelled to investigate a mysterious building next door that has been abandoned for six year. A strange dream and a figure in the window asking for help. Now you need to solve the puzzles and discover why the residents of the building all left.

Beyond the Room Guide Tips

• The game is full of complex puzzles with clues to codes and combinations hidden in the house. As with previous Dark Dome games the codes and symbols that you need will vary with each play though.
• We will give an explanation of the methods for solving each puzzle so that it your game requires a different code you will understand how to find it.

Beyond the Room Walkthrough Part 1 - The Dream

You begin in a room with a painting and a table. Tap the scroll of paper on the table to view it and see a clue.

Next view the small cupboard at the back and open the right door to collect a Safe Box Handle Wheel..

Tap the archway on the right to move through to the next room.

View the 4 cactus plants on the box to he right.

Cactus Puzzle

• Tap pairs of plants to swap their positions
• Match the arrangement of a clue

Solution:

Once done you can collect a Large Cracker and a Large Cork.

Tap the door on the right again to move to another room.

After the scene tap on the portrait on the wall

Tap again to watch the eyes move, remember the directions.

Then view the bird house to see the talking bird, It will ask for food.

Give the cracker to the bird and it will tell you what it has seen, It will mention 4 items / symbols.

Now go back to the first room with the painting and view the cupboard at the back again, the door on the left has a lock that requires 4 symbols.

Enter the ones that the bird has told you in your game.

Collect a Brick and a Pink Key.

Use the Pink key on the door on the left to open it and go through. After the scene you are in a room with 2 beds and a doll.

View the lower bed and tap the cover to reveal a Paper to collect.

Next view the safe on the floor.

Safe Puzzle

• Add the handle wheel to it to start.
• Tap the arrow buttons to turn the wheel to the left or the right.
• Find the correct combination of turns to open it.

Collect the TV Remote Control

Go back to the room with the man standing in the corner and view the TV.

Use the TV remote control on it to turn it on

You will then see 4 square patterns on the screen. These are a clue.

Now go to the right to the room with the bird and view the cupboard on the right side.

Cupboard puzzle

• Tap the 4 squares to change the patterns on them.
• Set these to the same as the clue seen on the TV.

Collect a Blanket from the cupboard

Now view the 4 holes in the wall on the left of the room. There is a hand holding glasses.

Get the Glasses

If you try to tap the glasses to take them the hand will move to another hole.

Place the Blanket, the Brick and the Cork into the empty 3 holes.

Take the Glasses.

Go back to the left an give the glasses to the man with the book.

He reads the book and gives you a clue. Remember the time he wakes up.

Show

Return to the far left room with the beds. Then view the clock on the stool by the chair

Tap the buttons below each number to change it. Set it to the time given by the man with the book.

The doll on the chair will wake up and walk to turn off the clock. Then fall. Now view the chair it was on and collect the Art Paintbrush

Go back to the first room and view the painting on the easel.

Painting Puzzle

• Place the paintbrush on the palette, then tap it to begin.
• For the clue, read the paper to find out the colors that you need to select for each part of the picture.
• Tap a color on the palette to pick it and then tap the section of the painting

You can then collect a Key from the painting.

Use the Key on the locked door next to the painting to open it and go through and watch the scene.

This completes the intro sequence to the game. Move on to Part 2.
